      I am looking to purchase a vintage fuel gauge for my boat but am unsure if models such as one for sale in the link below would be compatible with a model fuel sender. Does anyone have experience installing vintage fuel senders and know if all senders are universally compatible with all senders.

      I appreciate any help you may have.

        The sending unit resistance has to fall in the correct ohm range for the gauge to work correctly.
