In the past someone posted pictures of a bumper mount motor stand that plugged into a receiver hitch. It placed the motor between the tailgate and the boat. I was wondering if that could be posted again so I can see about making one. Thanks.

could probably use one of the receiver inserts with the upper receiver for a bike rack etc then use 2" tube up to a plate for the motor

Are these some of the photos? I had posted a thread on the old boards about building one.

Thanks Mumbles, Those aren’t the same photos I remember but that is about the same idea and will help in designing something similar. I can get a dual receiver designed for a bike rack from Wal-Mart and make an engine rack from a piece of 2 inch square tubing. The posting I saw a while back had pictures of two or three designs, one of which had a hinge to allow the mount to fold down for access to the back of the truck. If anyone else has pictures of engine mounts please post them. I need all the design ideas I can get. Thanks again to all!

Inspiring, I’ll put it on the list of things to do. I have an old bike rack I’ll try to convert and then look for the double receiver.
