Don’t know the answer to all your questions. Probably more than one problem. But one problem for sure is the control. The fast idle lever shouldn’t be coming up when you work the main lever. Does that have anything to do with the hard start? Maybe, maybe not. It certainly doesn’t have anything to do with taking 30 seconds to turn it off.
