I have a1949 Elto Sportster, which is running very well, thanks to all the help. Thank you. I thought there was a kill/ground wire on the throttle rig, but if it ever was there, it’s not working now. Can I rig a kill switch on this twin. I know it would be easy on a one lung motor. But if I put a wire on each plug through one switch, won’t that interfere with having the spark only at the correct cylinder at the correct time?

Run a single wire from each breaker point to a door bell switch mounted on the cover. Pushing the button shorts the two together. That kills the ignition because each breaker shorts out the other. It’s like the points never open. . . 🙂

OR – you could use the more expensive (and water proof) OMC stop switch.
          . . 😆
