      So the fiance has finally come around – due to the AOMCI influence an outboard will officiate our wedding.

      It will be in bucket at idle, the vows will be exchanged, and the response will be as follows:

      Forward = YES
      Reverse = NO
      Neutral = THINKING

      Best motors to officiate? Recommendations – please provide your reasoning too. The winner will receive an honorary medal.

        To make it legal, you might have to have a notary operating the motor.

        To make my decision I need some background info, how old are the both of you, and how old were you when you met each other?

                good one stanley! Richard – let’s keep in mind that some of the direct drive motors can be rotated backwards, for reverse/NO!!!!!

                    Definitely NO reverse on a BigFour. You got to have your thinking taken care of and be in right general direction before you start that one! Sounds appropriate so far.

                      Which is exactly WHY it is the perfect motor, like a marriage, you must first make sure you have a chosen direction, make sure you have a suitable plan, and remember it could be a rough ride, until you get used to how she likes to be handled, but then it can and most certainly will be one of the most memorable rides of your life… once you realize you never really are meant to control her completely.
