      Got carb kit BRP P/N 439074 for 1957 35 hp Johnson and it has 6 gaskets about the same size as packing for needle valves. Does new packing come with carb kits? The material is not black like original packing. Thanks for any help!

        Yessir that’s what they are. They might be a tan color, or possibly red.

          I’ve always seen the red ones in the BRP kits
