A very kind person saved a Homelite motor from a scrapyard in Virginia. So now the challenge is to get it to Red Wing, MN.

The motor is in Bloxom, VA, in Accomack County, on the Virginia part of the Delmarva Peninsula. A pretty isolated area.

Not sure if I’m posting this in the right place. Apologies if not. Any suggestions appreciated. The Homelite is in several big pieces weighing in total around 225 pounds. Also, hood is missing so looking for one.

If somebody steps up and wants to deliver that for you, i have another that could tag along from VA to WI. I’d be willing to kick in gas money!

Would a hood of a Bearcat 55 fit on the Homelite?
I might know where one is at in Cookeville TN
          check dock side for picture

Hey alan, it’s a mark 55 and needs to go from vinton, va to madison, wisconsin. I could pick it up in red wing.

Good idea. I got a quote of $125 from Fastenall, store to store. Not sure how that compares with alternatives.
