I am searching for a couple of woodruff keys for my flywheel. I sheared one off yesterday.
      Serial number is 2503408518.

I am also looking for the plastic adjustment screw for the throttle adjustment.

      Thanks for the help!

I made a woodruff key like that – I found a piece of scrap metal the right thickness, cut it as a rectangle close to size with a hack saw, then held it with a pliers to a bench grinder until I had shaped it into a curve on one side – it worked great. Note that key is mainly for assembly, once the nut is tightened properly, with zero lube on the tapered shaft, there is little or no stress on the key. This was for a motor like yours.

If you want to buy one, go to marineengine .com.

                60 to 65 ft/lbs.

I personally prefer OEM keys. Seen trouble with hardware store ones for whatever reason. They are cheap enough, I buy them in big bags.

If you need one still PM me ill send you one.

In my area, no hardware store had keys that big that were that thin.
