Buccaneer , I will post a picture of the recoil base so you can see , it is bolted on to the powerhead . The picture is from a KD that I have that is just a pile of parts .
George , The coils might be alright I tested them with a ohm meter but only at the plug wires. ( tested bad ) The wires look good but I will know better when I pull the flywheel and read directly off the coil.
