It looks like a 1930 Muncie OB2. The rope sheave for steering below the powerhead is what makes me think that but maybe the Muncie built Neptune OB24 had it to? Don't know.

Shes a little rough looking, but some spit and polish and that'll be a champ, I dont know much of anything about the neptunes but that sure looks cool. Its one called an opposed cylinder for sure. I could see that thing with some brass plating and shinny. Looks mostly in tact minus a few parts from the pictures. Some of the neptune specialists will be around sure enough.

There should also be a retainer ring around the sheave, as on this one.

I can't remember who's motor it is but I hope the owner doesn't mind me using the photo.

Those are some nasty weld boogers on the clamp brackets! I'd check those out carefully before trusting it under load, although the rest of the motor doesn't look like it'll be making smoke anytime soon. Good start, though on an uncommon motor!

Definitely Muncie Neptune. Take a closer look at that 4 a you may find it to be an A.
I've only see a few.
If you need parts you can contact Netune Ned.
I just got a similar unbroken clamp for my 37 OB65A.
Good luck.

If you need to replace the coil on your motor, a coil from an Evinrude Zephyr or light four will slide right on. OMC coils work also. I sent you a PM.
