      Can I assume that a tiller handle from a mid to later 50’s Evinrude/Gale 5hp to 35hp motor fit a 1957 Seaking 25hp?

      Thanks,

      David T.

Motors below 25hp have a split two-piece tiller arm. Motors 25hp and above have a longer, one-piece arm. This applies to Evinrude, Johnson, Gale, and yes Sea King from the same era.

There are some differences in the tiller arms 25 HP and above. One is shown in this string .https://aomci.org/forums/topic/my-latest-find-2/
