More like a rock and stump guard. This is the best weed guard . . .

I have a 49 Sportwin like your last pic and was amazed at how effective it is. It pushed an Alumacraft A with myself, my two sons, one of their friends and my dog through weeds that I couldn’t have rowed through, and came out after a couple of hundred yards into clear water with nothing stuck to the skeg, nothing wrapped around the prop. Absolutely amazing. Everybody should have one.

This is a model # M-1 for smaller motors.

I wish I would have one of those on my Chris Craft Challenger when
                I hit the rock pile!

Nah, it’s for filleting fish without getting your hands all slimy. Sharpen the leading edges a bit and it will make firewood out of any logs you hit.
