    Hi Gents,
    What does the term looper mean when discussing outboard motors?

    It is the combustion chamber design. I think it is loop scavenged but shortened to looper. I believe it refers to the path the air fuel mixture makes in the cylinder. Air and fuel come in to the chamber and make a loop.
