      Hi,
I am from Newfane, VT 802-258-8868. I repaired the transom on my 1960 Corson. Any ideas on how to cap it. There was metal but that rotted away and didn’t work to good.

Here’s a link to a thread on a restoration project.
Scroll down about 1/3 of the way and he tells how he did it.
I’m going to try this when I get back to working on my boat.

If you need to use glass resin be sure to use epoxy resin. The inexpensive laminating resin is not near as strong as epoxy.
