Im looking for a parts diagram for the 51 bigtwin gearcase and what common size bearing the drive shaft takes ? thanks Randy in Tampa 😎 ,
Randy,
My 1954 RD uses OMC # 375829. Timken #’s 09081 and 09195. Not sure if 1951 would be the same or not.

I believe there are selective shims involved with that bearing. I would have to search the manual for the details.
Found an old parts manual in stuff..thanks all 😎
Sorry I was slow … . . . . . 😳
I believe gear cases from 1951 to 1954 are the same on the Big Twin class. It’s the QD’s and Fastwins, that had the different styles in the first two years. The larger horsepower had their changese in 1955 and added the larger rear bolt.
