      I have a Waterwitch which thrills me to no end with the amount of work this little guy is making me do but that’s what it’s all about > My question is what do I have as to year and hp? The rope plate says 571-30 which is maybe a .75/1938, . The serial# is SA1196. The .75 hp is an air cool and this is a water cool with the pipes and all which shows to be a 2.5 hp. I’m using the Petersons guide for my info. Need this info before I can ask for parts or info. Thanks…Brian

        Hi Brian,
        I picked up an identical motor today at the meet. Serial no is SA 4359. 1938 Waterwitch 3/4 hp. Model is 571-30
        You can find some helpful info thru http://www.waterwitch.net It has pictures on 3/4 hp.
