      Researching the ’57/’58 35hp Johnson cowl emblems. From my parts manuals, it looks as if the ’57 and ’58 35hp front cowl emblems are the two hole mounted #304867. These are only for the RDE ’57 and RDL ’58, not the Super Sea Horse RDS. Other ’58 emblems are mounted thru three holes. Are these two models the same for both years?

        If you look at the background, the stripes run different directions between the 2 hole and 3 hole medallions.

        The 2 hole has vertical stripes, the 3 hole has horizontal stripes.
