      I got this tank with a mark 25 and I think I removed the fitting that was in the pick up unit and I can’t seem to find it. Any idea what type of fitting was/is supposed to fit in there? As you can see from the pics, it was a threaded fitting.

        the fuel line fit in there , no disconnect fitting just 1/4 pipe I think it was.

          oh, like on the very old single line mercury tanks, right?

            Looks like 1/4" female pipe thread, as stated. Could either take a Mercury bayonet type fitting or a hose barb fitting for a permanently attached hose.
