Framingham Meet, 1/13/2018

The Framingham meet will be held on Saturday, January 13th, 2018. The location will be at the Edwards Church, as it has been in the past. I will do my best to honor Ron Mogavero's memory and promise to have coffee ready for all you early risers.
I am looking for ideas on how to enhance this meet. The temperature is usually pretty cold, forcing members to warm up in the meeting hall. It would be nice to have some activities inside as well. Needless to say, can't have any fuel/oil, or too much grease inside.
I have always liked the themed presentations at the Georgetown meet, it would be very cool to have some interactive displays such as:
Coil testing demonstrations with the merc o tronic
OMC universal mag set up with timing fixture/ ohmmeter
I would be happy to have a active troubleshooting display for the OMC CD2 system using the PRV and ohm meter.

Other ideas might include:
service literature/engine brochure displays
Toy outboard collections
Photo albums/pictures of members enjoying outboards in their "younger days"

Again, looking forward to hearing any suggestions or ideas you might have....Don

The Framingham meet will be held in spite of the forecasted rain. I think much of this swap meet can be moved inside the meeting hall, provided everyone brings some sort of tarp/drop cloths to protect the floor. Again, we can not have anything inside that might leak oil or have gas in it. I realize that weather conditions will probably have an effect on attendance, but let's do our best to make this kick off meet a success. Our good friend Ron Mogavero will be smiling down on us.
I promise to get there early and have coffee ready.
