Florida Chapter Wet Meet February 23,24th 4-H Camp

We kick off our 2018 season with this great meet and great location. Cabins on site, beautiful clear lake and great conditions for running all types of motors.

Florida and Gator Chapters

6th ANNUAL 4-H CAMP on LAKE FRANCIS
February 23-25, 2018 in Lake Placid, FL.

THEME: Engines from 1954 and 1960. Explanation told at the meet, so be there.

EVENTS: Crankshaft throw is like horseshoes, closest to the pin wins, one throw per person, after Saturday’s lunch. All awards after crank throw.

FOOD: Complete food plan is Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday breakfast $ 47.50 per person. Individual meals are below. We have a 30-meal minimum.

There is a $6.00 camp usage fee for use of the camp per day for all participants, we will have a kitty jar, and be honest!

Friday dinner $10.50 5:00 pm
Saturday breakfast $8.50 8:00 am
Saturday lunch $9.50 12:00 pm
Saturday dinner $10.50 5:00 pm
Sunday breakfast $8.50 8:00 am
Payments are due at the meet, but remember to R.S.V.P. your meals and lodging!

Last day for food reservations is February 16, 2018 the Friday before.

LODGING: per night rates and bring your own linens.
32 RV SITES – w/ electric and water $16.00 night, $300 for a month - there is a dump station.
CABINS - $22.00 per person, there are 2 that sleep 12, 12 that sleep 8 and 2 handicap sleep 6.
TENTING - is half price @ $11.00
MOTELS: Holiday Inn Express 863-465-9916, Grass Lake 863-465-9200 and Ramada Inn 863-465-3133 all on Rt. 27 South of Cloverleaf Road.

DIRECTIONS: Off Route 27 in Lake Placid - from South to H. L. Bishop Park (the Lake June meet) continue on Rt. 621 about 2 1/2 miles and turn right on Cloverleaf Road to about 1/2 mile to camp entrance left. From North - Cloverleaf Road a right hand turn after the palm tree sales office. Follow Cloverleaf about 1 1/2 miles to entrance. You will pass the launch ramp on right about 3/4 miles from Camp. No launch ramp at camp it’s up the road. Address is 126 Cloverleaf Road 33852.

Bring your boat bumpers; the dock has none if you plan to tie up. Good beach area.

Big RV’s please do not drive over the side walk around the cabin area!
