So my Evinrude 35 hp won’t go into gear anymore. I was told in my last post to pull the powerhead to get at the problem. I have a complete parts motor to pull from. So I’m wondering how I pull the head. I clearly see 6 screws that seem to hold it on. Anything else?

      Thanks

Yep, two bolts with 1/2" hex heads near the rubber mounts, and two nuts, also 1/2" hex on the inside, up front. And a screw holding the silencer to the lower front pan. It will also be easier to put back together if you remove the shifter interlock bar from the side, and the vertical throttle shaft on the opposite side. And of course any hoses or wires.
