      I need help wiring up a coil conversion for a 27 R Fastwin. I want to keep the electric lighted evinrude feature and battery connection. Will it affect this?
      Coils are mounted upright now just to check fit,they will flip when I get ready to hook everything up and modify the Bakelite panel where the sparkplug wires come in.
      Anyone with experience on this conversion? Please chime in.

        Does anyone know if the coil grounds have to be run through the plate and grounded to the motor? Or can they be grounded to the plate?
