I’ve often thought of the time back in the day, when a customer brought in a 5hp Gale Sea King, complaining of hard starting an poor performance. A quick check revealed cracked coils, which I said had to be replaced. The guy was skeptical and doubted my diagnosis. Nevertheless, he consented when I told him it would run like new when I got done with it.

Fast forward a couple of weeks, and he was back. He sez "you lied. You told me it would run like new, and it doesn’t. It runs BETTER than new!"
