If you can locate a model number, it would really help in figuring out what kind of Clinton you have. Clinton was the actual manufacturer of the outboard, and they also supplied outboards to both Sears and Montgomery Wards under store brand names. The company primarily made yard machinery, but had a go at air cooled outboards for awhile. Lots of their outboards were equipped with Walbro carburetors. I haven’t worked on one in years, but you may not need a rebuild kit, just disassemble, give it a good cleaning, and reassemble. I think the floats are usually metal, as are the needles. If you need to replace gaskets, you can probably easily cut new ones using FelPro gasket paper, available at most auto stores. That said, if you can find a number on the carburetor, you may be able to track down a rebuild kit, as Walbro carburetors (assuming that is what you have) are widely used today.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable on Clinton’s will post and give you some more detailed information.
