Do you still have the old seal? If so, look for a seal manufacturer’s part number stamped into it, which back then is likely a "CR" followed by 3 or 4 digits. The CR company is Chicago Rawhide, which is now "SKF" SKF’s website has cross-reference tables from the old CR numbers to new SKF numbers, even if it was a special number they set up for Johnson; or you can call them on the phone and customer service will cross ref it for you and tell you where in your area there is a seal/bearing shop where you can buy one. The Johnson part number you have may or may not be a number SKF can cross-reference.
