I'm working on restoring a 1953-54 15012 15 hp super fastwin serial number 14495 (not sure if that serial number range falls in 53 or 54). I am planning to replace the lower seal. I found a parts manual for a 1955 super fastwin models 15014 and 15015 (thank you Gary!) and that mmanual shows the gasket for those model numbers as a 203694. Is that the correct part number for the 15012 as well? Additionally I am looking for a bypass cover to mount a fuel pump on if someone has one they could part with see link below.
Thank you David for the quick reply and great info! My 1953-1954 Gale 12 HP GG9016A motor had the two gaskets you mention and did not have a lower powerhead seal. Before I needlessly remove the powerhead does this motor have the seal as shown in the 1955 manual?
If push comes to shove, there is a way of mounting the pump to the existing bypass cover. Fabricate an adapter plate. I used to make these, but gave it up because of lack of interest. Picture shows one on an 18hp. Seems everybody just uses a pulse hose instead.

David, excellent work on your refurb!! Frank thank you for the tip on the adapter plate. I would like it to look stock if possible but could do the plate or the Briggs pump if push comes to shove. I figured out how to add files. Below is a picture of the Motor and the Mag plate. The original coils were replaced. I found a coil chart Dan had posted and these coils are listed as 1962 possible aftermarket coils. They tested fine but are they reliable or should I replace them? The coating seems pretty soft and almost spongy. The points and condensers are getting changed. Thanks,

Frank you are correct it will not be stock. I add fuel pumps just to make it easier to move a tank from motor to motor since I run all my old outboards at 16:1. If I can find a cover it requires a little less fabrication on my end. If not there are many ways to add the pump.
