      I am in the process of buying the above motor what is it ? I thought all the early motors were opposed cylinders engines.

        this is a circa 1934 Lightwin Imperial. It is missing all the shrouds. As can be seen it is an alternate firing twin.

            Very cool engine, seems to be ahead of its time. Ignition/carb synchronized together and alternate firing twin.
