      I am looking at a 20 HP Chrysler with electric start, it has no spark. I look for coil (just to be informed) and they look like they are +-$100. Is there a way to fit the OMC universal coil in?

        The Chrysler core laminations may be adapted to the OMC coil … some are more difficult than others.

          The coils in the 60s Chryslers are pretty good – are you sure that is the problem? I would suspect the classic Wico point fungus or a bad condenser – maybe even a bad plug or damaged wire. Best to double check all the easy stuff before condemning the coil.

            thanks Guys
            No I haven’t got the motor yet, just looking at worst case scenario so I can negotiate a price
