What is it? This carb has the fixed high speed jet if that makes a difference.

Well, the initial setting for the low speed needle is 1.5 turns out from gently seated.

Thanks guys, I got it running. This is the motor I was refurbing for the 90yr old WWII vet. He loads his Grumman Sport Canoe into the back of his truck and fishes walleye every year. I went through the ignition and replaced the points and caps. I used Frank’s timing tool and got the timing set perfect. Changed the water pump impeller and cleaned/adjusted the carb. Cleaned and gapped the plugs. I also installed new starter cord. Hopefully this will last him many more seasons. It’s a sweet little motor.
