      What would be a recommended prop for a 1958 35hp or a 1962 40 hp.? The motor is a bit of a mish mash I think but I also believe that the lower unit is part of the 1958 35hp. The one on now is a 3 blade measuring about 8 1/2 inches. Ideally I would like to go with a four blade that would fit that lower unit.

        Back in “The Day” we found the 3-blade 10 1/2 X 12 to be the best prop on the average boat the motor was likely to be used on.
