Come on out, bring your boat and prized outboard motor to display and operate on the lake. Big Fish Lake is in the Ortonville State Recreational Area. No “open exhaust” or loud motors on this lake, but plenty of area to “clean out the carbon”. There will be no “open” swap and sell area at he meet. There is a nice picnic area, good boat launch, picnic shelter and rest rooms(pit toilet at the boat launch site). A lake side lunch will be available or bring out your picnic basket.

From I-75; take Baldwin Rd. (Exit #84) north to Oakwood Rd.(approx. 12miles), turn left(west) on to Oakwood Rd., follow to North Haley Rd.(4 1/2 miles)turn right(north), go about 2 miles, Big Fish Lake entrance is on your right. State park entrance(requires Recreational Passport or pay a day use fee).
