      Has anyone ever trried rewinding coils. What tools are required. I’m handicapped & will enjoy boating again but want to contribute to the hobby. Seems kind of hard to do but not impossable. Help guys & I’ll help you!!

        you  would have to be a saint to rewind a coil… the secondary winding wire  is not much  bigger than a hair…. and the results could be  a dud.

          You are so right, the secondary wire size is .40. I have heard about threaders that deal with that head ache.  I too think finding that wire not from China would be hard to find. Looked on line & those machines stark at 5K & up.
