      Hey Guys,picked up a completely rebuilt Gale 5hp Montgomery Wards Sea King.It is a 63 model .I need the correct Gas Oil ratio . I am thinking 24:1 Thanks

        book says 24/1 but not to explicit on 63  5d22 model   and  being rebuilt  it won’t hurt  anyway.  oldies love oil

            The ’63 Johnson and Evinrude 5.5’s drank a 24: mix, not sure about the Gale but probably the same as I believe they had needles on the big end of the rods by then to. If ever in doubt, 16:1 will work in everything.
