      can someone please tell me what model of hydraulic steering unit can be used on my 1989 Sylvan SS, thank you Bob Gilchrist

        What type of steering do you have now?  Regular push/pull teleflex cable type?  If so, why is it that you want to convert to hydraulic?  The engine is only a 90hp, I just don’t think you will gain much in terms of control/ease of steering going to hydraulic.

        In any event, I would just consult the teleflex accessory book, I’m sure the kit part numbers are spelled out clearly there.   Keep in mind that some of these units are a little bulky, along with the hydraulic hoses that are flexing around, so transom well dimensions and clearances should be considered…
