Just bought this Sportwin 409. Came with full owner history. Spark is there. Compression in both cylinders is 90 psi. Gas tank is shiney pristine. Will try to light it up next week. Wondering what it has for coils?

      Pictures exceed limit.

Probably the factory single coil with two high tension leads as was the usual for opposed twin motors of that vintage. One set of points and one condenser. You must not have needed to pull the flywheel if you’re asking about the coil. Lucky break there, 99% of the time I pop the flywheel because the points need cleaning and polishing. Sounds like you found a good one.

Thanks. You are correct on the flywheel. Just put a spark tester on it, and both lit up strong. Will clean the points. That never hurts. The motor came with its entire history. It is amazing.
