      Hi All

After reading club members methods of removing dents from aluminium outboard tanks, I was wondering if anyone has tried using the above?

I have unsuccessfully tried hot glue and thought of this idea.

don’t know about tape  but  seen simple hot boiling water on  car dents allowing metal expansion and pop out of the dent.

Of course not much would fix a  crease or crimp ..  Bondo and paint can fix them up.

a local body shop may help.

The car part in the video looks as though it may be made out of plastic.

I actually tried it on a kia Forte Koop  left back panel and….it worked about 70% leaving  the creased imperfection visible but it did work.

. I suspect most side panels are metal.

I did not want to tear into the rear inside panelling to push out the  metal panel  during the process  (helper would be required) but I feel confident it would have  pop back out with good results

            not my car so….
