If you have 70lbs or more your motor should start and run just fine. Some motors may run OK as l If you have 70 lbs. or more your motor should start and run just fine. Some motors may run OK as low as 65 lbs. but are usually hard to start. Below that you’ll be lucky to get a pop and may indicate that the rings are stuck because of the garbage oil from the past if the motor has been sitting for a long time. Tubs
