Hi guys, I recently purchased a Goodyear SeaBee 5 HP. I believe it’s either a 2G2 or a 2G3. There is no ID tag between the transom clamps or holes where a tag was previously mounted. I did find a brass welch plug installed in the lower front area of the block. It looks to have 2 square flags resembling a hurricane warning on a pole with what I think is the engine serial number under the flags. Does anyone know which model I have? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I’m also looking for an original owners manual for this engine and my other SeaBee 5 HP model 2G7 025-3564-A. Thanks.
Model 2G2 does not have 360 degree steering. Model 2G3 does have 360 steering.
