      I have found a small motor (16 lbs) 1.1 hp Evinrude Ranger that I am trying to purchase but the person does not want to box it and ship.  He apparently is too busy which I understand.    I am trying to find someone that I could hire to pick up this motor and box it and ship it.   It is small and needs to be restored so it could literally be thrown in a box with some packing peanuts or an old blanket and sent to me.   I would make all the financial arrangements and will pay the favor forward sometime in the future,     If anyone is close and would like to assist me with this that would be great.     Thanks so much

        Search Citizen Shipper. Someone comes, picks it up and takes to to your door. Shipped a 1956, 15 hp. Johnson from  Central ILL. to Cleveland Ohio this way. Guy picked it up – 9 hrs later it was at my buddy’s place in Ohio.  Expensive. He was paying.   Tubs

          Ask Jay to drain the gear oil and have him drop it off at a UPS store for packing and shipping. Leaking gear oil during shipping will lead to the motor being impounded. I have no idea of the cost, but might be worth checking into.
