I’m sorry, I don’t have access to dockside, so I just wanted to extend prayers and best wishes to the members and their families in Florida, Alabama and Mississippi!  It been a little while since I’ve been on so Frank Robb, Gary Spencer, and George Emmanuel if y’all can read this y’all are in my prayers and hope God keeps you and your family safe.

      God Bless,

      David (Cajuncook)

Stay safe indeed.   I’ve been through a number of hurricanes over the years living in Florida and now in Texas but this one is a real monster.  Best wishes to all of our members in Helene’s path.

No problem here where I live, other than some trees.  But I guess they had some high water over near the beaches.

It’s on the news that Helene reopened Big Pass connecting Casey Key and Siesta Key with Sarasota Bay, here in Sarasota.  Hooray!!!!  Something we have been trying to do for 4 decades, with much political opposition.  God did what man could not do. Google it for more info.

Frank, I’m happy you and family are safe.  You and the AOMCI group stay in my prayers.  Y’all always were willing to help and give advice on a project motor.

Glad God reopened Big Pass for y’all 🙂

              Cheers,

              David

Frank – I spoke with my brother who lives in Sarasota right after Helene went through and he also told me the same news about Big Pass being opened up by the storm.  That’s great news.    Glad you made it out safe but hope there’s not another one headed your way!
