Ready to start a new project.

I’m looking for a Parts List for a 1958 Gale Buccaneer outboard, Model 5D15B, 5HP, DeLuxe .  Either a paper or electronic copy is OK.

Frank, thanks for the prompt reply but I really need a complete parts catalogue.  This motor is in pretty bad condition, a couple broken, missing and mangled parts.  This will be my first experience with a gale outboard, although I’ve been told there are very similar to the Johnson of the same year but since I have all Mercury motors that doesn’t help much either.  Again thanks for the information you provided.

The link posted above is a complete parts  manual. Scroll down to see the whole thing. It is for a 1959, virtually the same as 1958 but different decals etc
EDIT Actually, come to think about it, the 1858 and 1959 Buccaneer motors are the same, no differences that I can detect.

Maybe you want a “Service Manual”?

The PDF I posted above is a multi-page complete “Parts Manual”.

If you want a “Service Manual” you can get one from Richard Paquette:

                Hello again Frank,

You are correct I didn’t scroll down through the document you sent.  It was indeed the parts manual that I was looking for, I already have the service manual for the motor so I will not need one from Richard Paquette but thanks for providing his info.
