Snotty day here, so I’m rehabbing this little Mate.

Went to replace the fuel line and the nipple fell out of the carb. Where these just held in place by friction? How could I repair this?

      Crazy glue ?
      marine tex epoxy ?
solder … will it stick to aluminum?
thread a tap in there and find a nipple with threads ?
      find a replacement ?

      Seems like a poor design

Nevermind. Just swapped the carb out, and it seems to run and cool fine. I was extra careful replacing the fuel line on this one though. If I didn’t have a spare carb I was going to marine tex it in there.

I would have gone with the Marine text too, but I’m no expert.
