                  Ya, the more I look at this one, I believe I may have to admit defeat here. It definitely looks more like a Champion from the top view of the tank and the exhaust tube. If it is a Champion, wouldn’t that mean it was not a 1939 Sears? 😕

                  I thought Kissel made Waterwitch outboards for Sears from about ’36 until West Bend bought them out in about ’44 or something like that. Elgin was next.

                        I have to admit, I didn’t notice the "twin" tanks—actually one. So now I don’t know what it is. But leaning toward a Waterwitch.
