      The thing that made me lean away from Waterwitch was the top view of the tank. It is so flat between the sides and it seems like the similar Waterwitch tank almost has ‘fins’ on each side with the flat between. It still may be a Waterwitch, I’m not real sure either. If I find anything that is evidence one way or the other I’ll share it.

        OK, check this. Here’s what is supposed to be a 1941 Champion Kingfisher single. Other than maybe a couple character lines in the rear corners of the tank, this is pretty much identical. The transom clamp, exhaust tube, cylinder head, spark plug angle, etc. all match too.
