      Where might I be able to find a 1940 evinrude elto handitwin 3hp ignition coil?
      Its a 2 spark coil and the plug wires are soldiered directly to the coil. Engine model number is 4357

            US Member - 2 Years

            Have you measured the resistance across the secondary ?
            If it is really bad you can place an ad in the classified section. Elto Handitwins were a pretty common motor.
            There are also other replacement alternatives

                Plug wires are gone and I can see the wiring inside the coil is broken
