      Thanks john. Good to know. As soon as i get grease for lower unit, this motor going for a ride. Out of my 3 outboards, 1987 evinrude 6hp and 1992 evinrude 200hp, this 70+ year old machine runs the best. Simply amazing. Going to use 16:1 fuel mix to start. Sound ok? Figured it couldnt hurt considering its age.

        16:1 is what Scott recommends and is what I use. They have plain bearings and so need a rich mix.
