          I have a 1943 Evinrude light four and i took the connecting rods off does that mess anything up?

            Ranger47, you’re better off starting a new thread for answers on a different motor, so
            things don’t get confused with the subject of the thread.
            Rods are taken off motors all the time, so I guess it depends if anything was damaged
            in the process, or if everything is put back together correctly and torqued adequately.

                Rods have nothing to do with timing of the engine

                    Ok so I need to know were i can get some parts any help I cant find anything that is for my 1947 Evinrude ranger any help would be apricated.
