Anyone have a parts diagram for a 1951 – 54 Gale 5S10
Powerhead?
I’m working a a Spiegel Brooklure 500 of that era,
and data shows it’s based on the Gale 5S10.

Specifically, I’m wondering if it has some kind of
strange looking slinger for the top crank, or
a strange looking neoprene seal.
Looking at it, I see no rubber, but what’s seen,
does not spin with the crankshaft like a slinger.

Update – diagram no longer needed. I found the file
hiding in my 1953 Hiawatha 5 hp folder!

It looks like it uses a slinger on the crankshaft, with
a cover over it, installed in the crankcase bore.
