So, I have been overhauling my ’53 Lightwin (including new plug wires) and I just realized that I forgot to note which coil went to which cylinder. If my memory serves me correctly, the coil closest to the plugs runs to the top cylinder. Is this correct or do I have it backwards? Thanks for backup!

Coil closest to front of motor runs top cylinder.

Thanks Bob! This may sound like a stupid question, but when you say “front” of the motor, do you mean the plug end or the carb end? Sorry, I just want to make sure I understand what you mean.

          Thanks again,
          Mike

            Carb end is front.
