Does anyone know where I can find a parts catalog for my 1955 Evinrude 7.5HP outboard model number 7518?

This motor has probably not been used since 1956,and I would like to go thru it and get it in the water. I know that to replace the impeller, the power head must be removed. I need the gasket that goes under the power head, because I am sure the original will tear upon disassembly. So, I would like to get the parts catalog to have and to get the part number of the gasket to find a new one. Also, a source for the gasket would be appreciated. Thank you!

Here you go…the gasket is 303467. There are members who sell parts who will chime in if they see this. There’s also some available on ebay.

I attached the manual as a pdf but it didn’t show up. I’ll try again…

If you print the manual Steve posted,  here’s the front and back covers for it to make it complete!

Wow!! Chipster, that is an amazing example of that model!! I think you’re right, doesn’t look like it’s been used since ’56, like brand new. What a great project!

Thanks, Steve! Looks like it just came out of the crate. Almost hate to put tool scratches on it, but it needs to see some daylight and water. No sense in just looking at it.
